Technology Forum 2010

I was invited to attend a a Technology Forum in Empire. The talk was very innovative and the discussions between the speakers and the crowds was very interesting and resourceful. A number of big companies attended the forum and shared with the public the secret of being successful and how they are different from others. Like every forum there will be food that is why I am there :)

Networking sessions

Indulging food with a great view

Enjoying the great view

Hadi having discussion with ITB Lecturer

Heading over to Empire Theatre for lunch in a baggy

Nice ambiance

iCentre Crew

Bread

Chicken Salad
Great appetizer. The salad dressing is amazingly delicious, a little sweet and cheezy :)

Sea bass with homemade mashed potatoes

I did not really enjoy this dish. The fish is a little over cook and hard. The homemade mashed potatoes is really something. A little buttery and milky taste.

White and Black Chocolate Mousse

Strong rich chocolate dessert. Loving it :)

Soft and sticky texture :)

A talk from the author of "Silicon Dragon"ti

After the talk we all headed over to the main hall to continue the last discussion session.

Keeran and the others having a discussion back at the main hall.

Last networking sessions

Scone with whipped cream and strawberry jam

That is all for Technology Forum in Empire yesterday.

Pasta

Pastamania

Pastamania is a world wide franchise and have a total number of 39 branches. Brunei is the 40th addition to the group. Unlike the other branches Brunei's branch is unique in its own ways. Additional dishes were being offered and the price is remarkably afforable as mentioned by many.

Location: Time Square

Cuisine: Italian Cuisine

Opening hours

Love the presentation
Love the menu
Love the picture
Love the price

Lychee, Peach and Green Apple Soda.

Teh Tarik in Pastamania Cup

Chicken Carbonara

I really enjoy this dish, the taste is just great. The cream is thick but lacks a little salt on it. For those who love to take their meals alittle less salt this carbonara should fit in just perfectly.

Chicken Ham and Sausage Baked Rice

Personally I find this dish too cheesy and the heavy salted. I had to constantly take a sip of my Lychee Soda (which is great by the way) from 2 to 3 bites.

Half Hawaiian and Half Vegetarian Pizza

Lets try something new....

Mituo Vege Restaurant

Famous for their vegetarian food :) It is a non-profit restaurant and all the money made will contribute to charity. Great place the staff is friendly and best of all the staff over there is working at their own will. This shows how kind human can be. For a non-profit restaurant they are quite active in help those who are in need. They previously organize a fund raising event to raise fund for the disasters in Philippines.

Location: No 11, Block B, on the ground floor of PAP Norain Complex, Mile 1, Jalan Tutong

Cuisine: Vegetarian Food

The sign says it all, pay as much as wish. Basically, the restaurant is offering a buffet of 6 vegetable dishes. There is no cashier but a red box that you put your money it. It all comes down to how much are you willing to give, part of those money made will go to charity. You can however eat with out giving a single cent but it is best to contribute to the society and you wont want to leave the restaurant having hundreds of eyeballs looking at you. Just a friendly reminder :)

Free flow of vitasoy, orange juice, tea and water.

Yup, no meat all veges :)
I am not a vegetable guy, but I think I will change my mind after that meal. Vegetables can be delicious and healthy too :)
